I have promised to make a post where i post the text from the tutorial about how to make a Youtube channel. Here it is, but i would strongly recommend you to watch the video!!
THE TEXT FROM THE TUTORIAL; HOW TO MAKE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL ACCOUNT
There are 3 ways to create
a youtube account:
-sign in with an existing
gmail or google account
-sign in through the
youtube website
-creating a google account
With the second one you
need to create a Gmail account. If you don't want that, then it's
better to just create a google account. The link for that, you can
find in the description box below.
In the next few minutes I
will take you through the steps of how to create these accounts. But
first I wanna welcome the fans from 2oldmenandablonde. If you came
here through the youtube search engine then I hope this tutorial is
gonna be helpful for you. And I would be delighted if you would check
out our short entertaining and funny videos. Which I make together
with 2 friends of mine Kevin and Bjorn.
Before whe start with the
tutorial:
REMEMBER, you can always
pause the player if it goes to quickly.
So let's start with option
nr. 1 when you have an existing gmail or google account:
-Click on the sign in
button
-type in your existing
gmail address
-or the email address
which you use for your google account
-then click the sign in
button
You now have a youtube
account which allows you to like videos and subscribe to channels.
However when you want to comment on the videos then you also need to
have a Channel. And we from 2oldmenandablonde would be really happy
if our fans would start commenting on our videos, cause the more
comments a video has got, the higher it will get in the youtube
search engine. And that makes us being found easier again by new
audience. Which will hopefully lead to more views and subscribers.
I will show you how to
create a channel in the next step.
Option nr. 2 signing in
through the youtube website
-click on the sign in
button
-then on the create an
account button
-you now need to make a
gmail account
-type in your name and
choose a google username
-and fill in the rest of
the form
-type in these words to
prove you are not a robot
-uncheck this box if you
don't want to link your google+ and make sure to check the terms of
service box
-now click on next step
A new window comes up
-you now have to verify
your account
-i recommend you to do it
by sms
-select your countrys flag
-and type in your mobile
phone-number
-then click continue
Another window comes up
-Wait for your sms
-it can sometimes take up
to 15 minutes
-type in the code and
click continue
A new window comes up
which creates your google+ account
-click the next step
button
Another window comes up
-make sure to wright down
your email adresse, cause you will need this, to log into your
youtube account the next time
-now click on the back to
youtube button.
You now finally have a
youtube account.
-you can now take a short
view through youtube
by clicking on the next
button
-or skip this and click on
the cancel button
You now have a youtube
account which allows you to like videos and subscribe to channels.
However when you want to comment on the videos then you also need to
have a Channel.
Let's create channel:
-click on the triangle on
the right side
-an extra menu folds out
-click on the youtube
settings link
A new window pops up:
-click on the create
channel link
Again a new window pops up
-wait don't click on the
big blue button yet
-cause I would recommend
you to create a username
instead of using your own
name
-click on the create a
username link at the bottem of this new window.
-now type in a username
how you want to appear on youtube
-now click on the big blue
button
“OK I am ready to
continue”
Yeah you did it,..you have
a youtube channel and you can now: upload and comment on videos. For
example on our videos from 2oldmenandablonde.
Option nr. 3 creating a
google account
-so for all the people
that don't wanna create a gmail account this is how you can do it.
-you can find the link in
the description box below
-now fill in the form
-type in the word
verification
-check the terms of
service box
-now click on the create
my account button
A new window pops up
-you now have to verify
your account
-i recommend you to do it
by sms
-select your country
-and type in your mobile
phone-number
-then click on the send
verification code button
Another window comes up
-Wait for your sms
-it can sometimes take up
to 15 minutes
-type in the code and
click on the verify button
An email has being send to
your regular email account
-if you can't find it
check your spam folder
-now open the mail and
click on the link
to activate your account
-a new window pops up but
you don't have to do anything with it.
Now go to the youtube
homepage
-Click on the sign in
button
-type in your email
address which you used to make this google account
-then click the sign in
button
-you can now take a short
view through youtube
by clicking on the next
button
-or skip this and click on
the cancel button
You can now like videos
and subscribe to channels. However when you want to comment on the
videos then you also need to have a Channel.
You can now follow the
steps to make a channel which I showed in option 2
-or scroll down and click
in the commenting box
A new window pops up
-uncheck this box if you
don't want to link your google+ account
-if you don't want to go
with your full name on youtube, then click on the use a business or
other name link
-now choose a user name
and your gender
-and click on the create
channel button
Yeah you did it,..you have
a youtube channel and you can now: upload and comment on videos. For
example on our videos from 2oldmenandablonde.
